Buying your PlayStation Vita games digitally via the PlayStation Store instead of at your local GameStop or Walmart may wind up saving you some cash. Pricing on the downloadable versions of Vita games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, and Unit 13, pictured above, is looking about 10% cheaper than their retail counterparts.
A NeoGAF member spotted the discounted digital versions of Vita games in Best Buy's inventory, a list that consisted solely of Sony-published games.
Sony confirmed to Game Informer that there would be discounts on the downloadable versions of Vita games, but did not offer specifics on the digital price break. PlayStation Vita games in Japan typically run about $10 cheaper if purchased via download.
The PlayStation Vita comes to North America on February 22 officially, one week earlier for those who buy one of Sony's early adopter bundles.
