New Shank 2 Video Showcases Survival Mode

Yes. Shank 2 is coming next week, seeing the return of cartoon, animated bludgeoning, blood and savage brutality, complete with multiplayer modes and a host of other fresh content, including the Survival Mode, which is the focus for this new gameplay trailer.

Giving you a brief tutorial, the Survival Mode video explains the basics, which involves protecting your supply dumps from attacking bombers, who storm the stage as little guys in overalls. You can purchase reinforcements from the in-game shop and set traps to stave off the attackers, and it looks like you'll need all the help you can get, as it gets pretty hectic.

You'll need to survive as many waves as possible to unlock new reinforcements in the shop and make an impact in the rankings. It's all covered in the short Survival Mode video below. Have a butcher's at that, as well as another uncut gameplay sequence from the Docks stage and some new screens, then look out for Shank 2's release on February 8th for 800 Microsoft Points.
